I've done my best but didn't get much anywhere

Over the last couple of days I've spent my spare time trying to get this calendar up. I managed to crop it a bit but can't find where and how to write on the top left side of the picture.
I couldn't get the short list to work for us and Picasa, which I usually use, wouldn't open and I might have lost it all together. I tried a few other apps which let me enhance the picture or even write on it, but when I uploaded same picture it all disappeared on me.

If anyone of you has any ideas what else I could try, please let me know.
your comments and favorites are always very much appreciated .
that's frustrating. I use PS so can't help with the free tools you might be using. The calendar looks nice!

Your month looks great! I had trouble too and ended up using a screen shot and then PS.

I also had some problems. I used the "print screen" button and then it came out the editing option. Your calender looks very nice.

Picasa should be no problem given. Re-installatede it maybe will help. Like the collection anyhow.

I found these instructions on the site a while back and this works for me. I use the snipping tool and open the saved image in Paint. You can erase the unwanted numbers and add text, then save the edited image. I haven't used Ctrl-v.

Your computer or laptop might have a "snipping tool" (an icon with scissors), use it to capture the monthly view on your screen. save it in the "paint" program as .jpg and you're set to upload it. alternatively, you can press the "print screen" key found in the top row of your keyboard "PrtSc" (make sure though that your whole month view appears on the screen) then go to your paint program and do Ctrl-V, then you can trim it however you want. save it as a .jpg document.

@merrelyn Thank you so much for your advise. unfortunately, I don't have a snipping tool on either Hans' or my computer. I might try to open it in Paint again and look to see if there is something I overlooked. Thanks again Merrelyn!
