The Desert Lady

This is my last take for the Get Pushed Challenge as set by my partner Mike: Selfies in black and white.

This is not in b&w though... I look like an alien with that scarf all over my head if I switch it to monochrome. lol

I almost gave up with this picture... I failed to get what I had in mind after 30 shots or so. I just could not get the right pose, right angle and right amount of light from the window. This shot was the 3rd to the last one. Luckily, I had something fruitful after an exhausting photoshoot. lol

Thanks a bunch, Mike @jaboney for pushing me to take selfies... it was definitely out of my comfort zone. It feels good to have achieved something after a series of tries. I will surely take selfies again in the future.

It didn't matter that there were other shots that were physically larger in the collage; this one just seized my attention and demanded that I view it full size. :-) One would never know that you were uncomfortable taking self-portraits.
