German Ring Turning: Deer In Progress

A busy afternoon in the shed today and new project, "German Ring Turning".
So to let you know the process, here goes form the top left.
Top Left: Select the wood (a piece of Teak) and cut out a template of the desired shape.
Top Right: Mount the blank from the top and turn out the chin, neck, legs and tummy.
Bottom Left: Re-mount from the bottom and turn out the nose, head, antlers and back.
Bottom Right: Once sanded, make the cuts from the edge in (and hope).

I will post the results later....
I'm learning so much about woodworking from you. Interesting collage
