I'm sorry to hear about "the news" at work and hope that you'll be able to work it out. It sounds pretty serious- at least the way you put it, but maybe it will be better tomorrow. Nice play on the words for today- and for a quick shot- it looks great.

Three thing I have learnt since a was threatened with redundancy:
1. Stay positive and tomorrow will not be as bad as you think
2. Your 365 friends will allways be there for for you.
And most importantly...

This 365 site is amazing, there is something very special about seeing glimpses of the everyday lives ( or everyday sock-drawers ) of people and of course chatting to them too. We all seem to share a bond which is unexpected and nice.
So sorry for your bad news at work. I feel for you. I used the quote about learning to dance in the rain during an extended period in which my dear father was dying and being forced to sell our family business due to the economy. Learning to dance in the rain is important because life is too short to waste any of it.
Thank you all for you supportive comments, I have a day off today and I have started detailing the job I current do (to justify my existence) and my CV, (in case that falls of deaf ears). I have a great weekend with my family and feel better thank I did last week,
