I took a trip back to the "Toolpost" in Oxfordshire today to get a "Pen Mandrel" and some 24ct gold pen parts so that I can get started with some more turning today.
In this photo there are a number of wooden pen blanks, three acrylic blanks (Mrs B chose the mauve one for her pen) and a piece of Beech wood, to make a bowl (or something).
A nice hobby -- looking forward to seeing what you make -- this reminds me so much of my late father - always creating something new in his workshop at the end of the garden !
