Peter discovered a large felled tree in the woods recently. He eyed it up thinking it would make good burning for the wood stove. It was close to the road but was rather large and heavy so would need some serious chainsawing to cut in into manageable chunks. He got busy with his chainsaw yesterday and was challenged by a local resident to make something out of the remainder. He came up with this one-person seat. A local dog walker said she would be able to use it to take a rest when walking her dog in the park.
@phil_howcroft Well probably not but they tend to leave them lying for a long time. There's one a little further along which has been left right across the path.
Love it! I have two sections of the tree we had taken down last summer and that is something like I had in mind. In your picture it looks like a scene from a great story!
