From the suspension bridge

This is part of the mountains which make up Mount Cook, the highest mountain in NZ. We walked across this incredible suspension bridge. It was really secure, but the wind was ferocious. You felt like you were going to be blown off! Very scary. Peter had to rescue another lady who was travelling on her own. We had three bridges to cross altogether and always the wind was rushing down like a tunnel. I'll post a pic of the bridge in my other album. Thanks so much for all your comments, I so appreciate them all, sorry I haven't much time to reply.

what a fantastic view! without the person for scale, I'd have just thought this was a small track, not a road!
