We had a lovely walk through Brampton Woods this afternoon. The bluebells - and the sunshine were out. Brampton Woods are the second oldest woods in the country at 900 years old and are mentioned in the Domesday Book. They are trying to restore them to how they used to be by cutting down the pine trees and leaving more room for the hard woods.
I can almost see the midges Judith! I was talking about you to the NZ B&B's they were advising me to go on a sail to Doubtful Sound so I was showing them your photos & how you had loved your night there.
