Tatton Park by busylady

Tatton Park

We visited Tatton Park on the way home from Lancashire. It is the home of the RHS flower show which thankfully is on this coming weekend. I say thankfully because it would have been too crowded, although I would love to visit the show one of these days. However, the park was vast and the gardens beautiful. We also visited the mansion house once owned by the Egerton family. It was bequeathed to the National Trust and is now maintained by East Cheshire Council.
Lovely tailored gardens. Lovely shot

What a lovely neat garden! I expect they have loads of people to tend it though. Nice shot Judith

This is a great shot. My first instinct would have been to 'crop' it and/or silhouette it but this works brilliantly especially with the two members of the public.

The sculpted bushes are quite amazing -- and well featured above the gardens. It must have been lovely to be there in person!

@motherjane Thanks for your comments Jane. I did crop it a little and in fact I hadn't even noticed the two figures!
