The new corner wood-stove is now in place and the decorating has started in earnest. Ceiling finished and three coats of paint on three walls. Looking good. Notice all the tester pots! I made mistakes with the last room I decorated so decided I had to make the right choices first time this time. Not a cheap option but worth it! The new paint is by Valspar - I remember it as a child when we used Valspar Laquer. It's an American company which has recently expanded and they are using B&Q to launch their new range of colour mixed paints.
@motherjane Yes the flue will stay clean, there's a special lever which creates a down draught and keeps the glass clean - awesome! The flue size is 6 inches.
The stove looks great Judith......wonderful for the approaching winter! Tester pots are so expensive but it's almost impossible to get the look from the chart! Looks a sunny cosy shade. Very inviting!
Very cool shot of work in progress! Reminds me of a scene from HGTV (don't know if you get that program there but it all about decorating, fixer uppers, and buying and selling homes. Love it. Nice shot.
