Insect art by Christopher Marley

We finished another jig-saw puzzle over the Christmas break. According to the reverse of the box these creatures are Beetles (Coleoptera) and true bugs (Hempitera). Christopher Marley is a young artist who travels the world where 'insect populations are flamboyant and profuse'. It was a fun and fascinating puzzle to complete and was bought with my daughter-in-law in mind as she is also fascinated by the insect world. The puzzle now has pride of place for a few weeks/months, under the removable glass in our coffee table. It's too nice to put away!
looks to be a tricky one! A nice way to spend the hols I think

I have always loved doing these puzzles and can't get anyone in the family to engage...this one looks like it was a lot of fun, but tricky to construct.

Fabulous.

A great idea to preserve your puzzle. It's such a shame to take them to bits after just finishing them.

Its good to have it somewhere where you can see it after all this work! I love jig saws but they take up so much room! This one would be easy wouldn't it, with the different markings and colours!
