Fading beauty

These tulips are beginning to fade - as is my poor dog Betty. She was at the vets this morning and we have made the final appointment. So sad.

I'm so sad to read about Betty. It brings tears to my eyes just to think about it. Rarely does a day go by that I don't think about my beloved Nutmeg and I lost her 17 months ago. What's different now is that I remember her in so many different ways, not just from the end. All the best to you tomorrow and in the days ahead. It's a beautiful flower to commemorate a beautiful life.

Oh no I am so sad to hear about Betty my heart breaks for you!! They are so much a part of our family life that saying goodbye is always going to be so hard.
