Design and textiles

I went with a friend to the embroidery exhibition at Ely cathedral this morning. We weren't allowed to photograph any of the exhibits but photography everywhere else in the cathedral was allowed. These were exhibits by A-level design and textiles students and were outstanding. So creative and individual.

good friends to share the day with
looking after Henry when I got home - he's such a happy baby

@maggiemae That's right. These were in the main part of the cathedral so we were allowed to photograph them!

@phil_howcroft Oh no Phil, this was perfectly legal and above board. Anything within the main cathedral ie not in the exhibition was OK to photograph. I've got used to asking for permission now.
