The grand staircse

This is George Gilbert Scott's Grand Staircase in the St Pancras hotel which featured yesterday. I've been looking up facts about the hotel but can find very little about the staircase itself, other than it has been used as the backdrop to many films and videos, including the Spice Girls' debut - 'Wannabe'. The staircase itself is for residents only so this is the view from below and is quite breathtaking. The re-development of the building took place between 2004 and 2011 at a cost of £10 million.
