We were in Hyde Park on Saturday night for the last night of the Proms. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone singing, dancing, having picnics and just enjoying themselves. The line up on stage this year was excellent. See if you can recognise Caro Emerald, Beverley Knight, Russell Watson, The Mavericks, Alison Balsom (trumpet player) and of course the Jacksons who played for almost an hour. At 9pm there was a live link up with the Albert Hall, so we watched on screens the last hour and a half of the Albert Hall performance. Luckily the weather was good, no rain and not too cold. All of my pictures were from screen images as even though our friends were there at 2pm they still couldn't get a place very near to the front. There were 40,000 people there this year, and it was all very well organised.
