We drove into Bedford and stopped to take a picture of this sculpture on a roundabout going into town. It shows two steel swans soaring 15 feet above stylised brick chimneys and trees. 9,000 specialsed bricks were made to reflect the brick kilns which are part of the history of Marston Vale.
Have you walked around Marston Vale ? They've made a good job of turning the old brick works into a country park.
Vale, or even where it is! It sounds good, I'll have to try and go there.
