I went to a workshop earlier this month to learn how to do goldwork. We all bought a small kit to work on which contained all the materials necessary to complete a butterfly, a bee or a flower. We used gold leather, sequins and beads to create the finished effect. I have now completed my butterfly and am quite pleased with the result, although this is just a very small sample of the amazing work which we saw at the workshop.
