Boats at Orford Ness

We had a fabulous day out on the Norfolk coast visiting the National Trust site at Orford Ness. According to the guide it is both a 'place of historic interest' and a 'place of natural beauty'. I couldn't agree more. We took the ferry over to the Ness and walked all around the site -about 3 hours in total - enjoying the lighthouse and shingle beach scenery. The site has been used since 1913 until the 1960's as a weapons testing site including atomic weapons. More pictures to come!
I like the low POV you chose and all the boats in the foreground leading us into the scene.

Lovely composition, the boats appear as if just washed up in that bank.
