Imagine standing on this impressive stage and receiving the Nobel Peace prize, or indeed any of the Nobel prizes as they are all awarded here. The City Hall is free and open to the public unless there is a ceremony taking place.
Isn't this an amazing place?! I hope you also went around all the rooms on the first level. I was just amazed by all the murals. I think I went around the place with my mouth hanging open! I can't believe that my daughter has been living there for nearly a year, and still hasn't visited City Hall!
@jamibann Yes we did! Quite an amazing place. We also visited the Nobel peace museum, well worth a visit. Shows all the Nobel peace prize winners in a room dimmed with soft lights and a ban the bomb exhibition.
