Dying gracefully

This Japanese anenome was literally being frazzled in the hot sun, with the petals turning brown around the edges. I've never seen this happen before but still thought it was a beauty.
It sure is dying gracefully. It's rather beautiful in fact! Great shot!

I like how the petal edges complement the center. Those burned edges are deceiving as it appears to be quite lovely.
