Christmas is coming! by busylady

Christmas is coming!

This is the main street in Thrapston, Northamptonshire. We were driving through today and I just couldn't resist these jolly knitted sleeves over the bollards. Such a cheerful reminder to smile.
3 good things
1 a drive to Rockingham today to return a faulty gadget and a drive back through the villages
2) Henry came for tea so we had sausages and jelly
3) I broke the oven door - disaster, but bless him Peter is my 'repair shop' hero and is busy trying to fix it!
They are fab but I hope it doesn't rain.

I love these. I'm hoping to have a trip to Thirsk because they have a simular display.

They are amazing Judith....what a fabulous project. I have seen knitted covers on tree trunks but nothing as original as this!

What a bright and cheerful lot these are. They look to have taken some time to crochet!

In answer to your question about card there is a lot of choice out there. I think the easiest thing to do is go to eBay and look for NEENAH CLASSIC CREST CARD it’s around £5 for 16 sheets. You can get it on line in most craft shops it’s just usually cheaper on eBay postage wise but shop around. If you want other brands I can give you them but I don’t want to confuse you. Hope this helps just give me a shout if you need anymore info.

Colorful, unusual and a little bit strange! Made me think of The Village in the TV series The Prisoner. Are you Number Six?
