Clematis after the rain

We now have two clematis vines. This one in the back garden is a successful cutting I took from the one at the front.
When will this rainy weather stop? It seems we have an abundance of April showers and it's May!

A beautiful clematis - my "old" Nelly Moser is late this year - it had gone very straggly so the end of the season I not pruned but cut it down . so its new growth from the base ! - Looks healthy with a few plump buds to flower anon !
