Searching for Autumn colour

I was struggling to find some trees with a bit of Autumn colour, when I spotted this litle sapling beside the lake in the Riverside park.

What a pretty little sapling - I haven't been out to witness much Autumn colours yet -- but I suppose with the lower temperatures due at night we will have the Autumn colours and then they will fall off !

Beautiful tranquil scene with the sun and shadows and light on the (few) autumn leaves. I seem to remember last year there was very little colour and then the leaves all fell in the first week of November. Looks the same this year.
