I wasn't going to post a picture today as I couldn't think of anything to take a picture of. Then we decided to cut the Christmas cake! The Christmas tree is the backdrop. I'm pleased to say the cake is delicious, probably thanks to feeding it every two weeks with brandy!
Another wet and gloomy day, so I made chicken soup with the remains of yesterday's roast chicken, and there's still plenty left for another meal tomorrow.
Love your snowman on the top…. I expect it’s the bees knees that cake! We opened ours which we kindly had given to us! I haven’t trie it as I’m not keen but Harry said it’s delicious.
wet and gloomy it was today and yesterday and Christmas day and christmas eve !! Glad the cake turned out OK, but then you are an experienced baker so you knew it would judith (that was a compliment). We cut our cake yesterday, gluten free (my wife is coeliac), we cook it together (Willow helped too) it too was delicious and moist. Jane was quite heavy handed with the brandy !
