Peter made this bowl some years ago, with olive wood brought from Spain. We were driving past a wood yard and he called in to ask if he could buy some wood. They said they would give him some so he was delighted. Luckily we had our own car, so we didn't have to bring it home on the plane!
Olive wood has a beautiful markings. So beautifully made, I would love the smoothness of it. Well done Peter & something beautiful to hand down in a family.
