Our tame pigeon

This pigeon seems to have adopted us. He appeared to be injured a few weeks ago, and we could get quite close before he moved away. He wasn't flying at that time, but he flies a bit now. We were surprised to see him still around him when we came back after 3 weeks away. I gave him a little bird seed today, and he's still sitting outside our conservatory door. Perhaps he wants to come in?

Pigeons know where there best off, it does look well at home!

It must feel safe. All the pigeons we usually get at this time of year cleared out when a cooper’s hawk belt a nest across the street.
