Aylestone Artwork 0

Looking through some old shots, I thought I'd share some old street art. Found at the Aylestone recreation ground in the city, the buildings on which this and those posted as yesterday have were painted have been demolished and the artwork lost. It always surprised me how these works had been up for years yet never were tagged or over sprayed. Hopefully the new buildings will get the same treatment.
Is tagging a relatively new thing.

@wakelys tagging is basically putting their name over it, but if you are really into "the street ", I'm sure there's more meaning to it then just that. Thanks for looking.

Too bad it's gone- but at least you have the picture. It sounds like whoever painted this was respected enough they left the artwork alone.

Super street art in this shot and yesterday. Good photos. I think part of the attraction of street art is it's ephemeral nature.
