I think its a squirrel Tinker... by caddick

I think its a squirrel Tinker...

photo 202
After too long stuck inside watching us emptying box after box of nothing even vaguely edible smelling, we thought it was time to take them out to the woods nearby. Tetley spotted, chased and then (thankfully) lost this plump grey squirrel...
A bemused Tinker just 'chased'...Tetley!
A great leg stretch was had by all!

Typical whippet. Great shot.

ooh nice shot, we 're looking at a whippet rescue dog on thurs, she's been treated badly, but is on the mend, fingers crossed she likes us

All my whippets have really had it in for squirrels, mainly I think because they have the frustrating ability to run up trees and along branches overhead! This is a great shot! Fav!

@kmrtn6 I hope it all goes well, they are such loving dogs and deserve a good home. Will follow you now!

@bleakhounds It's early days for Tinker who just likes chasing Tetley!! @kmrtn6 Save her...you won't regret it!
@tishpics ...and these trees are high! Thanks for the fav ...it was a great runabout.

This is a great one! Do whippets bark much? Monty would be making a racket at this juncture!

I love the green on the trees. Looks good against the dogs

lovely picture of your dogs in the woods! whippets are so beautiful and the green moss on the trees makes the scene so mystical.... I hope it is only a squirrel that is up there... lol

this is gorgeous! I love the dogs, as you know, but this shot is uniqe in that it has the beautiful large trees with moss! So cute how the dog is standing on 2 feet. fav.

I remember being in NC at a B&B. They had rescue greyhounds that could catch the startled squirrels and I guess did it all the time.

Congrats on PP!!!!! :)

@fungirlslim Very droll!
@judithg The 'barking' tends to be in reaction to other, louder dogs...so Monty would probably spark them off rather than the other way round!
@scottkaway @whitelily @elizabeth264 The green moss is probably down to all our recent rain!
@tooki A fab place to explore...can go for hours. If I still cycled 'off-road' this would be perfect!
@klemieux Many here call them 'Tree Rats' (bit unkind really)... the squirrels not the greyhounds!
@wannabe @elizabeth264 Thanks for the favs ...and wow the PP...It's the 'big-time' for the whippets now...

Lovely photo. Kayna, the lovely little lurcher, is a squirrel chaser (and on occasion, catcher) so I have seen her in similar poses to this. Love the shape of the tree to the left of your handsome whippets.

@tishpics @fungirlslim So I'm told...Thank you both ...there really is no way of knowing what will sparkle for others!
@kaynadog Naturally I was trying to mirror the tree bend in Tetley's back!
