berry branches at sunrise

Not sure if these are chokecherries or chokeberries? I couldn't get all the berries in focus as clearly as I wanted, but I like the contrast of the morning light behind the branches.
I'm pretty sure they are chokeberries. We have the same ones in our yard.

@caitnessa I forgot to mention that I like the way you caught the golden sunlight in the background. Also wanted to suggest using a flash for photos like this. You will have to experiment with the flash power but the flash would really make the berries pop.

I've never heard of a chokeberry! I shall have to go and look it up now and see if you can eat it or just look at it! Lovely shot.

@casablanca I think ive heard of people making jam or jelly from the berries. My Mom always told me not to eat them when I was growing up. I think the seeds and / or leaves are poisonous ? or maybe thats just for animals? not really sure :)

I think I will go and have a Google and find out just for fun!

Cool shot! I really like how all the cool blue/gray branches are in focus and the warm background is totally out of focus.
