Floats through the air with the greatest of ease

... the guys and the girl on the flying trapeze.
(I think that's a song? )

This was taken at the Osman Shrine circus. I used my 300mm lens because our seats were far away. I tried different settings (sports mode, shutter priority, etc...) this was my clearest shot.

Any suggestions for better low light pictures in the future, where flash wouldn't help. ???

How do you like your Nikon? I had an 8 mega pixel Sony before this, and a canon film slr before that. It's taking me awhile to figure this one out. I've only had mine since December
