I cropped in a lot to get the close up view. But, I love how the bee is covered in pollen. He was busy flying from one flower to another. This is with my standard kit lens - but now I really want to invest in a macro! :)

This is a wonderful shot. Great detail from you normal lens. But do invest in a macro, if you wish. I realize in retrospect, that my first macro lens, which I enjoyed very much at first, was actually quite chintzy. But my second macro lens, which was still quite reasonable, was probably the single best investment I have made in my photography. I'm sure that you will enjoy one greatly if you do buy it.
