Damselfly

I didn't know there's a difference between dragonflies, and damselflies until we looked it up tonight. This shiny blue one flew around and landed on this leaf on my morning walk.

Lovely capture! I learned the difference between the two because of this project...last year I was taking photos of what I thought were all dragonflies and then I learned that some of them were damselflies. That's one of the things I love about this project...it seems I learn something new every day. :-)
