Ant on a needle

I finally splurged and bought myself a macro lens! Woo hoo! The package came tonight at dusk, and I only snapped a few photos before the moquitoes were eating me alive. I really hoped to see a butterfly or dragonfly... but this was the only insect I could find. There was a teeny tiny ant on the little pine tree my daughter planted this year from arbor day. I can't wait for sunshine and some flowers to photograph up close.
