The Eagle has landed

Attending our friends' outdoor wedding today. There was a huge eagle's nest in the tree top. There were babies squawking like crazy too, although I couldn't see them. This was right after the mature eagle flew in for a landing. (bringing food?) anyway, very cool to see.

I think we learned once average bald eagle nest is 4 to 6 feet in diameter and 2 to 4 feet deep... I believe they add to their nest every year.

They are such majestic birds.

Thanks so much. It was very impressive to see. The nest was so huge, and I could only see the eagle after it landed. Then it was hidden by the deep nest.
