This lake is usually completely full. Because of the drought we are having (despite the rain), this lake is nowhere near even half full.

Looking at this, this is the best way to see what effect there has been due to lack of water, and exactly why we still have a drought.

@mittens Thank you, Marilyn. I really hope so too. This photo could have been a lot, lot, lot better with more water. Better for the ducks as well!
