So, a few days late (I seem to be running ahead of myself with taking photos!), here is the first of my Jubilee photos.
This was such an incredible and momentous occasion. 60 years that Queen Elizabeth II has been on the throne, and a huge outpour of support from the public. The spectacle was amazing, with the largest flotilla seen on the River Thames in hundreds of years, the Jubilee concert organised by Gary Barlow and featuring Madness singing on the top of Buckingham palace, with a light show turning it into a block of flats, and then the carriage procession. Wow!
It isn't something that many, if any, will ever see again. May She reign for many years to come!
We had a little party up at Penn Street for the jubilee, with the Union Flag everywhere, including on the guy lines for the cricket club flag!
