I was surprised to see daffodils with buds in my yard this afternoon! It is mid-winter here in the mountains of Southwest Virginia... they are about 6-8 weeks ahead of schedule. Unless the season remains unseasonably warm, these probably won't survive. But it has me hoping spring is just around the corner!
