Great capture and commentary Cathy! This reminds me of a photo jokes that I saw on Facebook some time ago. It was of two gulls and one was obviously squawking at a second bird. The caption was, "Which one is the female?"
Cute! I saw one of these chatty "females" in a group when we were in Redington Beach in October. Only one in a crowd of about 50+ . You certainly captured a great close up.
