I really admire this fella. He must have just been learning how to surf. The weather was cold, he was the only one in the water because it was pretty cool and I am certain the water temperature was cold, but he had on a wet suit, stayed out there more than 3 hours, kept trying till he got it, able to ride the wave almost every time. The waves aren't big at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, but he was persistent. This photo was taken from our condo balcony, where I sat with my sweet old dog, Molly, most of the morning.
