Trillium by calm

Trillium

Being that it is Holy Week for Christians, this reminds me of the Trinity... the Godhead made up of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There are 3 petals, 3 parts to the trillium... the petals, stamen and pistil. Trillium grows wild where we live, heralding new life, and the arrival of spring.
Love this!

I love trillium! They make me think of Beaver Island. We'll miss seeing them this year!

Beautiful and so appropriate. I've only seen them growing up north. I've never seen them here in the South.

This is an outstanding capture, Cathy. So well focused and I love the bold contrast in color. Fav!

@homeschoolmom Lisa I live in Southwest Virginia, and I grew up in Sevier County in Tennessee where the Great Smoky Mountains are. We often saw them in the mountains there. How far south are you?
