The World Seems Upside Down

So we had breakfast for dinner (or supper as we say in the South). Scratch made biscuits, eggs, bacon and tomato. And eating healthy has been forgotten for now. You can tell I had little inspiration for a photo.
These look so delicious. I like how the frame is filled with the flaky goodness.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having breakfast for dinner! Especially when it consists of eating flaky rolls like these!

Those biscuits look wonderful - nothing like the ones I turn out! I often have breakfast for dinner - it's probably my favorite meal.

My favorite meal of the day is b'fast, but I like it best at dinner time. Love your biscuits -- they look delicious!

@lyndemc @jgpittenger @milaniet @carolmw @carole_sandford @taffy Thanks, all! If you need some comfort food, here's Bryan's Biscuit Recipe: 4 cups unbleached self rising flour, 1 stick of cold butter, cubed, 2/3 cup cold shortening ( I don't use shortening, I use all butter), Cut butter and shortening (or all butter) into flour with a pastry cutter. Then mix about 1 1/4 cup of whole milk or buttermilk with one egg. Stir into flour mixture. Knead, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, (folding is what makes all the flaky layers) then roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake at 500 degrees for about 10 minutes. Brush with melted butter. Enjoy!
