I think I will probably take a mental health break for a little while from 365. Today has about done me in. Murphy's Law has been our constant companion the past week or so. Problems with pressure washers, concrete sealing, shop vacs, flooded basement this morning with all the carpet being ripped out this afternoon, all our furniture and personal belongings strewn about, no hot water for the next few days, generator can't go where we want it to and requires 3 different permits, dishwasher we purchased came in damaged and it was a sale item so not sure if that will happen (been washing all dishes by hand since February) , behind about 6 hours on mowing this week, no staining done on the fence, trying to plan a baby shower and two birthday parties, and hoping to help our son and daughter-in-love with getting their first house ready to move into. And one of my dearest friends fractured her back and has been in much pain, having surgery in the morning. Oh, and my computer crashed 3 times today. Sigh. Maybe I will find a little time to view some of your photos.
Oh my....you got lots going on! relax, rest and take care of yourself.
Very nice detailed shot. Always amazes me that it can grow sideways from the tree trunk
Oh my - find a way to take 5 minutes of peace every now and then and breathe! Thinks have to be headed up soon! Don't worry about us - we'll be here when the road smooths out. And by the way, I really like the way you composed this shot.
Sorry to hear of the heavy load you are carrying at this time - for a inspirational messages + photos - perhaps this site might be of interest - https://www.messagesofhope.ca/
@pdulis Thank you. I will check it out. I know that God will help us shoulder the burden. But I must admit I am a bit on the discouraged side right now. In-laws with dementia and other heath problems requiring round the clock care. My husband's Dad is 91 and we just can't put them in a facility with no visitors and a greater risk of covid exposure right now. And his only brother has had a series of strokes and is no longer able to drive, and sister-in-law just completed chemo, with some side effects. Sorry for venting. I will be checking out your marvelous photos from time to time.
