I'm an internet marketing analyst by day, and a semi-pro photographer in my spare time, living in Victoria, BC, Canada.

On my birthday this year, I decided to challenge myself to improve every day as a photographer. At day 12, I realized that I had no idea what I was getting into, or how quickly I'd begin to improve.

365 Project has been more of a community than I'd expected, I'm definitely being fueled by everyone's support, praise, and most of all, your photos. I'm more than a little intimidated by the incredible skill and creativity of the work I'm seeing up here.

You are a humbling group.

At day 138 (Christmas), I believe that I have finally gotten past my insecurities as a photographer. I can look back on the past 4 and a half months, and see how I have grown as both an artist, and as a technical shooter. Which is a fancy way of saying I had no idea what I was doing back then.
