Chocolate banana cake

I was inspired by a recent posting by a 365-er friend, of a quick & easy chocolate banana cake .... and with a Public Holiday here in Canberra today, Tara and I thoroughly enjoyed the no work/childcare day and instead smooshed bananas, ate the chocolate designated for the cake, and eventually whipped up two cakes (she wanted a "small one for Tara").

Here's the recipe - http://365project.org/bluebell/365-no2/2012-03-01

looks yum, would be much nicer without the banana's though :)

@janmaki Haha yeah that would do it! Australia for elevenses. Up to Finland for a hearty tea then down a British boozer for a nightcap. Cameras in tow obviously...

@rich57 @janmaki Aaahh.... a movable feast .... sounds excellent. Although I will need to ask, what is an 'elevenses'? - is it what you eat/drink at 11?

This looks delicious and thanks for the recipe. Elevenses is morning tea.

@canberrabec @kjarn Yeah it's a cuppa and biccies or maybe banana chocolate cake at 11. It's a kind of British thing but I've never ever done it. Well I mean I have had a cuppa and a treat in the morning many a time but not specifically at 11.

@rich57 March to the beat of your own drum don't you?! Such a rebel, having elevenses not at 11!

@canberrabec Oh I've had nineses, tenses and twelveses in my time. Although its nearly 1130am and I haven't even had brekkie yet today.
posted March 12th, 2012
@rich57 @canberrabec I think 11am is a little too late for morning tea, its usually nineses or tenses for me.

@kjarn
He he!! Yup, I'm with you Kathy ... I'm doing well if I can make it to tenses without morning nourishment :)
@rich57 - then all this talk of food really can't be helping!
