The Grey Residence..... by carole_sandford

The Grey Residence.....

....... or at least what is left of it. The childhood home of Lady Jane Grey, the nominal queen of England for only 9 days, before being removed by Mary Tudor. Her family Home fell into disrepair in the late 1700s, long after Jane, her husband & father were executed for treason. Apart from the chapel, the rest stands ruined. They must have had some amazing views though of their Bradgate Estate....
A fabulous image of these old ruins.
