The first picture taken about 1984, so 34 years ago, the other earlier this month. The irony is that the ancient building/ruin looks the same! You can tell that photography & cameras in particular have improved considerably!
I thought we had that picture from before. Brilliant. (And yes, different time of year (If Dave took that) but the colours of the wet film from ‘84 are poor. Excellent.
A wonderful diptych - and a great improvement in the camera and colour ! Now Carol - your 1980's pose was so much more demure and enticing back then . ha ha !
@carole_sandford Like ships that pass in the night, we were at Akrotiri, I may have said that before, where were you. I am sure you may have said, but it has gone. Sad when the brain goes isn't it.

@onewing We were at Ay Nik (Ayios Nikolayas) with 9th Signal Regiment (Radio); 82-85 and again 95-98. It’s at the top of the ESBA, 4 miles South of Famagusta.
