Lincoln Tank Memorial

This memorial appeared on a roundabout on Tritton road in Lincoln a few years ago. Apparently the first tanks were made in Lincoln in 1915/16 & went on to save many lives in WW1. Mr Tritton was one of the people involved, hence positioning here I would think.
We have driven passed it many times , but as we weren’t far away on foot today we went to photograph it.
A must see on black.
Many thanks for all recent comments & favs, always much appreciated.
I like the crop you’ve given this. You’re right, we’ve driven around that roundabout so many times.
