Arlington Row by carole_sandford

Arlington Row

My husband & I don't often upload the same subject in an image, but today we took more or less the same things!
So, we have the same weavers cottages, with some subtle differences.....
They were turned into weavers cottages in the 1700s & whole village is made of the same stone & in keeping with these buildings - we think there is definitely money here!
this is lovely. love the green doors and drain pipes too

A timeless picture with no intrusion of modern technology (Satellite dishes, alarm boxes etc) 🙂

Pretty riw of cottages as John says above its nice to see a lack of aerials etc I was in Stamford on Sunday and the famous George hotel has a satellite dish and an aerial on one of its chimneys it really spoils the look of the place.

Almost looks like you could be back in that era - wonderful capture of some very interesting cottages.

What a lovely row of houses. Nice light on the moss covered roof tops too. Lovely capture 😊

Magical capture, with the textures and moss growing on the roof. Like a fairy land. Fav
