Didn't know what my picture would be today, as I am working a long day today. Having varied my route to usual, as I pick people up on a Sunday morning, this view came into sight. I have often thought it would make a good photo but for various reasons had never managed to capture it.
Today I stopped in the lay by there & with iPhone in hand took this ( wish I had had my proper camera, but quite pleased with this.) This is, believe it or not Lincoln old race course, which has for quite a few years now been given over to common grazing land for horses. You can just see some horses in the mist. Also it's a good view of the Lincoln ridge with the cathedral & water tower can be picked out on top, with a bit of squinting!
That's lovely Carole. And taken with your iPhone also. You shoudl perhaps start to carry your PowerShot in the glove compartment maybe - or maybe, not given the qualityof that pic with the phone
