Despite them being poisonous I love these trees! First became aware of them many years ago when we saw a huge laburnum arch, when visiting Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. We had a job findig a garden centre that sold them, but eventually did & this has been with us ever since. We even uprooted it when we moved house!
Such a lovely bright and beautiful spring flowering tree -- my neighbour across the road has one in her garden and it is absolutely full of bloom this ear As a child we called them Golden chains !
